SUDAN SITUATION | PROTECTION BRIEF - GBV

Type de document: Rapports , Protection Brief
Langue(s): English
Three years after the outbreak of conflict between the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in April 2023, Sudan continues to be the largest displacement and protection crisis globally. Displaced populations, including those who have fled to neighboring countries, face reduced access to food, shelter, and essential basic services. In addition, outbreaks of diseases such as cholera and measles have been reported in camps and settlements hosting refugees and internally displaced persons (IDPs) amid inadequate and deteriorating health services and overcrowding, further exacerbating humanitarian needs.
