On 23 March 2026, inter-clan clashes in the Dhinowda, Hir-Salama, and Ceel Dhanane areas of Eastern Mudug displaced approximately 250 households (around 1,500 individuals) to Garacad and Towfiq, as confirmed with the Galdogob district authorities.
