Canada has announced a CAD 10 million contribution to support clean and sustainable cooking for nearly 1.2 million Rohingya refugees in Cox’s Bazar, reinforcing efforts to protect both people and the environment. The funding, delivered through UNHCR and IOM, will expand access to liquefied petroleum gas, helping reduce deforestation, improve safety, and uphold dignity for refugee families, especially women and children.
