This Situation Report provides an overview of the protection environment and response in Lebanon following the 17 April ceasefire, highlighting continued volatility, fluid displacement dynamics, and persistent protection risks across affected areas. Despite a decrease in the number of internally displaced persons (IDPs) in collective shelters, conditions remain fragile, with ongoing short-term returns, re-displacement, and limited access to essential services—particularly in the South and El Nabatieh. The report indicates that over 140,000 individuals have been reached with protection, child protection, and gender-based violence (GBV) services, including psychosocial support, awareness-raising, case management, and emergency cash assistance.
