The Protection Sector in Lebanon continues to scale up emergency response efforts amid ongoing displacement and conflict impacts, with more than 1 million people displaced and over 125,000 internally displaced persons (IDPs) currently residing in 622 open shelters. Since the escalation, 12,291 incidents, 2,702 deaths, and 8,311 injuries have been reported nationwide. Protection partners reached 179,779 people during the reporting period through protection, child protection, and gender-based violence (GBV) interventions delivered by 36 to 55 operational partners across the country. Response activities included awareness and information sessions, psychosocial support, case management, emergency protection cash assistance, dignity kit distributions, and services for children, women, girls, and persons with disabilities. Child Protection actors reached 82,919 individuals, including children and caregivers, with community-based psychosocial support sessions accounting for the largest share of activities. Protect
