Accountability to Affected People (AAP) in the humanitarian sector widely refers to commitment by humanitarians to use power responsibly: to take account of, give account to, and be held to account by the people we seek to assist1. Reference to affected people in this TOR is understood to mean people directly affected by crises, in their diversities, and including those who are not in positions of influence or power.
