GBVIMS Comparative Monthly Analysis_ June to August 2026

Type de document: Rapports
Langue(s):
The latest GBV comparative report sheds light on the acute vulnerabilities of adolescent girls and the critical service gaps in hard-to-reach (H2R) areas of South Lebanon. With sexual assault accounting for over half of reported incidents among girls, alongside persistently high rates of psychological abuse, the findings underscore the urgent need to move GBV and child protection programming toward dedicated safe spaces, youth-friendly outreach, and targeted community risk mitigation to address this specific group and its needs. Concurrently, the report emphasizes that low GBV reporting in conflict-affected H2R areas—such as Bint Jbeil, Marjayoun, and Hasbaya—reflects severe barriers to safe disclosure and specialized service access rather than low prevalence. Because standard humanitarian distributions lack the confidentiality required for safe case identification, the analysis strongly advocates for flexible, mobile service models that integrate GBV case management, psychosocial support, and secure referral
