This review draws from over 250 sources of information, including media content, and studies produced by academic institutions and the humanitarian sector. The study provides insights into the social cohesion situation in Turkey by summarizing and contrasting the latest available research. It starts with a consolidation of the available secondary data on the drivers of social cohesion in Turkey. It then includes a review of the literature on measures of social cohesion, including social relationships, perspectives on the impact on the economy, and willingness to share public services as well as dimensions of vertical integration.
