The UNHCR-led PRMN implemented in partnership with NRCreported 288,000 new internal displacements in the month ofJanuary 2023. Of these, 227,000 were triggered byconflict / insecurity while 60,000 were related to drought or lack of livelihood and 1,000 were displaced due to other reasons.
