World Vision Foundation is a global non-governmental organization present in almost 100 countries worldwide, dedicated to the well-being of children. We believe that every child, regardless of their social or cultural background, has the right to equal opportunities to develop in a safe and healthy environment. We are constantly present in the vulnerable communities where we operate, to identify the current needs of the most vulnerable children. These needs are subsequently addressed in the long-term programs we run, with a focus on education, child protection and participation, rural economic development and health. We have been active in Romania for over 30 years, being the largest organization in the country present in rural areas. Over 24,000 children from the counties of Iași, Vaslui, Ialomița, Vâlcea, Dolj and Cluj are currently supported through our programs.
