As at 20th November 2014, Kakuma had received 44,282 asylum seekers from South Sudan. This brings the total camp population to 179,126.

In Kakuma the 16 Days of Activism against Child Marriage and Gender Based Violence drew to a close on 10th December 2014, which is also Human Rights Day.

The trend of daily arrivals from Nadapal has declined significantly over past months to an average of 50 arrivals per week.UNHCR KK team is monitoring closely.
