Since April 2023, 927,452 Sudanese refugees have fled to Chad, while 165,728 households (621,001 individuals) have been relocated from border areas to more than 25 secure sites within the country by UNHCR and its partners. This follows the escalation of conflict between the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) and the Sudanese Armed Forces, which continues to drive widespread violence, displacement, and acute humanitarian needs, particularly in Darfur.
