The National Youth Foundation (FNT) is the only member with full rights, from Romania, of the European Agency for Information and Counseling for Youth - ERYICA. The FNT network distinguished itself by obtaining, by a member foundation, the Quality Certificate for Youth Centers of the Council of Europe – the highest profile distinction in Europe, which confirms the fulfillment of the quality standards imposed by the Council of Europe. Thus, in Romania, in the FNT network, it is the only youth center that obtained and holds this certification. At the level of the member states of the Council, there are only 14 other such certified centers. Over time, the FNT network has been involved in major projects for youth development. Within the Romanian Capital of Youth program, member foundations of the FNT network were involved and are still involved in its implementation in 3 of the 7 cities that won the title (Timișoara, Târgu Jiu, Ploiești). Also, in the last 5 years, the FNT network has made considerable efforts to attract funding and involve hundreds of young people in the renovation of spaces intended for them, including saving buildings belonging to local communities. These efforts demonstrate the real care that FNT members give to the development of young people and the spaces intended for them. In 2022, declared the EUROPEAN YEAR OF YOUTH by the European Commission, FNT contributed significantly to the success of Romania, which occupied the first position in the list of countries that recorded activities carried out on this occasion. Moreover, with more than 1800 activities registered at network level, FNT not only surpassed other national networks, but even surpassed the country occupying the 2nd place – France, FNT thus becoming the national network in Europe with the most activities registered in the European Year of Youth. This performance was also appreciated by ANPCDEFP, the agency in Romania that implements the youth programs of the European Commission, which awarded the National Youth Foundation for the success at the network level and the contribution made to Romania's success in this field.

    NestingPlay

    NestingPlay

Nestingplay's founder, Eszter, experienced firsthand the challenges of raising a child who struggled to fit in through her youngest son. Áron couldn't play with his peers, wasn't accepted, didn't understand the games, and often felt left out. Eszter recognized that if this situation wasn't addressed promptly, it would adversely affect Áron's social life, integration, and well-being. Observing similar struggles among other children in her community, Eszter was inspired to take action. Recognizing play as a natural environment for children, she and her team focused on the playground, developing a system of specialized equipment to facilitate the inclusion of children facing various challenges within the community. This approach proved successful. Subsequently, the scope of Nestingplay expanded to encompass all forms of play, and programs were developed for teachers and parents to actively engage children who faced difficulties in integration. Nestingplay evolved into a social enterprise, organizing successful development training programs worldwide. Its impact has been acknowledged through awards such as the Award-winning Entrepreneur Award, Ashoka Fellow, and Exceptional Women of Excellence awards. However, the true measure of success lies in the many children whose early support from Nestingplay has paved the way for happier, more fulfilling lives.
