A total of 173,447 South Sudanese refugees have been received in the country since the onset of the influx.

A total of 18.005 refugees have arrived in Kiryandongo since the influx started on 16 December 2013

A total of 325 individuals from 52 families were relocated from Rhino Camp Settlement Ocea reception Centre in Arua and allocated plots in Tika II and V village

A total of 350 South Sudanese refugees crossed in to Uganda on Thursday 14th July.

An EXCOM donor mission from Geneva visited Uganda (Adjumani) to gain a deeper understanding of UNHCR and partners responses to refugee influxes.

As at 31 March 2014, a total of 93,824 South Sudanese refugees have arrived in Adjumani, Arua(10,138) & Kiryandongo (17,160) since the influx began on 16/12/13

As end of October Uganda host more than half a million refugee majority of them are from DR Congo [42%], South Sudan [39%], Somali [7%] and Burundi [7%] .

Border restrictions on South Sudan side have been eased slightly. Vehicles continue to be prevented from crossing but those on foot are now being granted access

By the end of 2017, UNHCR and partners received only 34 per cent of funds required to meet the needs of South Sudanese refugees in Uganda.

Close to 16,000 South Sudanese refugees have fled to Uganda between 16th July - 20th July alone.
