El Sector se encarga de fortalecer la coordinación interagencial para la lucha contra la trata de personas y el tráfico ilícito de migrantes y refugiados en el contexto de los flujos migratorios mixtos provenientes de Venezuela mediante la implementación de acciones de prevención, identificación, atención y gestión del conocimiento a nivel nacional y local. Se espera que lo anterior resulte en un fortalecimiento de los marcos normativos e institucionales de respuesta del Estado colombiano ante la trata de personas y el tráfico ilícito de migrantes y refugiados.
