South-Eastern Europe remains one of the key regions in Europe witnessing mixed movements. These include asylum-seekers, refugees, stateless people, victims of trafficking, unaccompanied or separated children, and migrants who are generally travelling over the same routes and using the same means of transport, but for different reasons. The region serves both as a destination and a transit route. This page presents an overview of data on arrivals and asylum statistics across the region, based on monitoring by UNHCR as well as information provided by authorities in each country.
