Description

The Protection Sector aims at ensuring that affected populations in all their diversity live in a safe, dignified, inclusive, and protective environment where their fundamental rights are respected, they are meaningfully engaged, and they have access to quality protection services. The Protection Sector, under the Lebanon Response Plan (LRP), draws participation from protection-related forums. These include: a) Protection Working Groups (PWG) at the field level b) Child Protection Working Group (CP WG) at the national level c) GBV Working Group (GBV WG) at the national level and other relevant Task Forces under the sector aiming at enhancing protection monitoring and advocacy, case management and cash for protection as well as community-based and MHPSS interventions.
